MITE Campaign Gains Unprecedented Success

The 5th Macao International travel (Industry) Expo (“MITE”) partnered with MOMEplay to present a “mission” to drive traffic to the exhibition held in Venetian Macao Cotai Expo.

“The Expo Mission” required participants to ask 6 friends for help to unlock the gift boxes after they logged into the game. The redemption took place at the venue during 7th-9th July where the participant could select two gift boxes for real time lucky draw. Winning was guaranteed with premium prizes such as limited-edition souvenirs, MacBook, Dyson hairdryer, Rowena suitcase, hotel accommodation etc.

 

The campaign received overwhelming result and gathered more than 2,000 residents for redemption in three days. All prizes were given out by the last day of MITE.

 

The 3-day Expo, which attracted 36,000 visitors, occupied 10,000 square meters featuring 473 booths originated from 45 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania.

Full Support to “We Are Sponsors” Scheme

To arouse public awareness to World Vision’s Child Sponsorship Program, a feature charity program “We Are Sponsors” will be broadcasted on MOME TV starting from 4th July.

The program highlights the pleasure and satisfaction of 12 celebrity child sponsors, including Sylvia Chang, Sammi Cheng, Mag Lam, Daisy Wong, Priscilla Wong, Kary Ng, Leo Ku, Vivian Chow, Candy Chea, Tony Mok and Karena Lam. An exhibition will also be held at Village Mall to showcase their correspondence and regular updates with their sponsored child.

 

The opening event was carried out at Village Mall 2F on 1st July. The ceremony was hosted by Amelia Che, Manager of World Vision of Macau Association; Joe Liu, Director of MOME; and Window Lei, President of Village Mall.

 

Liu appreciated the work of World Vision to fight worldwide poverty and prevent children from surviving and thriving in their community. To show support, MOME agreed to broadcast 12 episodes of “We Are Sponsors” charity feature programs on MOME TV platforms, where include buses, taxis and Royal Supermarket outlets, to call for public’s attention to the needs of children in developing countries.
