Participants of Global Entrepreneurship Youth Conference 2017 (GEYC) visited MOME on 29th June under the organization of Entrepreneurship Society of UMSU.
Joe Liu, MOME’s Director introduced to 25 students from Macau, Mainland China and Vietnam on the market development and opportunities of local media market. He also shared stories behind the establishment of MOME and encourage them to take on dreams and risks.
“My sight was widened and I got to know more about the operation and business model of Macau enterprises, which is beneficial to learn about,” said one of the participants from Vietnam, “Their experiences inspired me a lot and I hope I can start up my own business one day.”
GEYC aimed to strengthen communications between young entrepreneurs and local students, hence to enhance their networking, critical thinking ability and competitiveness. The program consisted of a series of seminars, visitations and competitions.
Four distinctive campaigns were launched during June, which reflected MOME’s capability to serve diversified and creative solutions to accommodate clients’ needs, as well as presenting fans an exceptional experience.

BNU’s MOMEplay campaign was inspired by classic childhood game and everyone’s got addicted! The marketing message was outstanding and the design also cohered to the bank’s corporate branding. Total participation exceeds 160,000 people.

The basket of prizes in Grand Lisboa’s MOMEplay campaign was the most bountiful ever, which included hotel accommodation, F&B voucher, Italy vacation trip and Maserati Levante SUV!
(26/6-16/7) IACM X MOMEplay Campaign
MOMEplay co-launched a campaign with IACM to celebrate the birthday of two giant pandas “Jian Jian” and “Kang Kang”. The 12 rocks on the chessboard showed the growth of the little things to serve the purpose of education.
MOME’s upcoming creative project Fook Union progressed through “Macao Youth Start-up and Innovation Contest” and representing Macao to take part in “Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2017”.
“Macao Youth Start-up and Innovation Contest” was initiated by Macau Government Economic Services, Education and Youth Affairs Bureau and Committee of Youth Start-up and Innovation. 10 enterprises were chosen based on criteria such as feasibility, potential, creativity and marketing plan, where they will be attending various start-up competitions in Shengzhen and Greater China.
Under the guidance of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Hong Kong, Macau and General Office of the People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality, “Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition” aims to gather youths in the area for resources exchange and strengthen the development of the innovation ecosystem and other aspects such as economy and technology.
